We recently undertook a kitchen lighting installation project aimed at creating intimate areas, and bringing warmth to the room based on the designer’s vision and the family’s requirements. The goal was to enhance functionality while achieving a cozy atmosphere that complemented the kitchen’s design.
We installed a combination of ambient, task, and accent lighting to define different zones within the kitchen. Under-cabinet LED strips provided practical task lighting for food preparation areas, while pendant lights over the dining table created a focal point and added a touch of warmth. The lighting design not only met aesthetic goals but also prioritized energy efficiency, incorporating LED technology to reduce electricity costs. By carefully planning the placement of each light fixture, we optimised both functionality and ambiance, ensuring the kitchen became a welcoming space for family gatherings and daily activities.
The homeowners were delighted with the result, noting how the new lighting transformed their kitchen into a more inviting and functional area that perfectly aligned with their lifestyle and design preferences.
