Combi Microwave Upgrade & Dedicated 20A Supply Installation
This project involved upgrading a standard microwave to a modern combi microwave, working closely alongside a kitchen fitter to ensure a seamless and professional finish.
Combi microwaves typically have a much higher power demand than standard units, so a key part of this installation was designing and installing a new dedicated 20A supply. This ensures the appliance operates safely, efficiently, and in line with current electrical regulations.
The work included:
- Installing a new 20A radial circuit from the consumer unit
- Routing cabling discreetly to suit the new kitchen layout
- Coordinating with the kitchen fitter for precise appliance positioning and integration
- Installing and connecting the combi microwave
- Full testing and certification of the new circuit
The result is a clean, integrated kitchen setup with a high-performance appliance backed by a safe and reliable electrical supply.
